English inside Hindi text.
If you paste plain text and set the frame to Chanakya, set IPL or BCCI back to an English font.
Dotted letters.
Check words with ड़, ढ़, ज़ or फ़ once they are in Chanakya.
Chanakya is an old-style font that draws Hindi shapes on English keys. The text looks right once Walkman Chanakya is set, which the .rtf does for you. We do not supply the font.

Answers to common questions about Unicode to Chanakya.
Why does the Chanakya text look like English letters?
Chanakya keeps each Hindi shape on an English key, so के is stored as osQ. Until the text is set in Walkman Chanakya you see the keys. Import the .rtf, or paste and pick the font, and the Hindi shows.
Should I use Chanakya 901 or 905?
Use whichever your page templates already have. Walkman Chanakya 901 and 905 put every letter on the same key, so one output works in both. Old government files set in plain Chanakya use another layout: pick Chanakya (old / government) in the font menu for those.
Can I convert Kruti Dev to Chanakya here?
Yes. Kruti Dev text goes into the same box as Unicode. A line above the result says it was read as Kruti Dev 010, and the output is in Chanakya. That is the whole Kruti Dev to Chanakya job in one step.
Why does CorelDraw break joined letters like विद्यालय?
Text pasted without its font can lose the shaping on the way in. Import the .rtf with File, then Import. Each run already has its font set, so द्य stays one letter.
Is Mangal to Chanakya the same as Unicode to Chanakya?
Yes. Mangal is a Unicode font, so Mangal to Chanakya is the same job. Text typed in Mangal, Nirmala UI, Google Docs or on a phone keyboard converts here. This Unicode to Chanakya converter does not need Mangal installed.
Can I turn Chanakya text back into Unicode?
