What happens to my file, and how long do you keep it?
It travels over an encrypted connection and is converted. Results expire 1 hour after conversion. Inputs expire after their last conversion. See Privacy for cleanup and technical metadata.
How accurate is it on handwriting and bad scans?
Use a clear image of printed English. Blur, skew, small print and complex layouts can cause errors. Handwriting is not supported in this release. Always review the result.
Can I convert more than one file at once?
Yes. Choose one PDF or up to 20 images, at most 20 MB each and 50 MB total. Convert separate PDFs in separate jobs.
Do I keep my layout, tables and columns?
The OCR tools return plain text you can copy or download as TXT. Word downloads keep paragraphs but not the page layout, and a searchable PDF keeps your pages as they are. Table and spreadsheet exports are planned. Review reading order, spelling and numbers before using the result.
Is there a page or size limit?
Each job can process up to 20 pages, and each file can be up to 20 MB — enough for most everyday statements, letters and scans.
