Case numbers and English.
CM, a case number or 1076 are left as typed, and Copy and the Word file put them in Arial.
Check before use

Set a whole paragraph to Kruti Dev and CM turns into Hindi shapes. Put English words back in an English font.
Slashes in dates.
In Kruti Dev the slash key draws ध, so keep a date like 12/03/2025 in an English font.
Marked letters.
A marked letter has no Kruti Dev shape. Replace it, or leave it in a Unicode font.
We do not supply Kruti Dev fonts. Kruti Dev 010, or DevLys 010 if you picked it, must already be installed on the computer where you open the file.

Questions
Answers to common questions about Unicode to Kruti Dev.
I converted the text but it still shows English letters. What's wrong?
Nothing. Kruti Dev text looks like Hindi only in the Kruti Dev font. Select the pasted text in Word and choose Kruti Dev 010, or open the Word download, where every Hindi word already has the font.
My Hindi is in Mangal, not Unicode. Will it convert?
Yes. Mangal is only the font; the letters under it are Unicode. So Mangal to Kruti Dev and Unicode to Kruti Dev are the same job here.
Can I get DevLys 010 instead?
Yes. For Unicode to DevLys, pick DevLys 010 in the font menu at the top. It uses the same keys as Kruti Dev 010, and Copy and the Word download then name DevLys 010 as the font. To read DevLys files back into Unicode, use DevLys to Unicode.
Why are some letters marked?
Kruti Dev 010 has no shape for them, and the rupee sign ₹ is one. Write Rs. in its place, or leave that sign in a Unicode font after pasting.
I don't have the Kruti Dev font. Where do I get it?
We don't provide it. Office computers and typing-test software usually have it installed already. Ask your office IT, or the institute that set up your typing software.
Can I practise Unicode to Kruti Dev 010 passages for a Remington typing test?
Yes. Paste a news passage, copy the Kruti Dev 010 result into Word or your practice software, and set the font. Which font and keyboard layout your test uses is written in its notice, so check that first.
